MEET YOUR DESIGNER...
Hello! Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Alyssa, owner and principal designer of Alyssa Wilcox Interiors, lover of all things beautiful, shameless HomeSense fanatic, foodie, and obsessed dog mom.
I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one of my clients. This allows me to build a great relationship with them so I am able to tailor my designs to each customers individual style and needs. I take function and style as well as budget into consideration to bring creative solutions to the table.
Working as a kitchen cabinetry designer for most of my career, I specialize in functional and beautiful kitchen design. Kitchens are my favorite area of the home to work with because the kitchen is the heart of the home and my favorite place to be! When designing kitchens I provide digital 3D photos of my designs to help my clients visualize what the design will look like in their space.
How did I get here? I haven’t always had my eye set on being an interior designer, it sure has been a journey! I have been a creative person all my life so my family was shocked when I decided on pursuing a commerce degree. They were even more shocked when I decided I didn’t like commerce and that I would try biochemistry instead. That’s right you heard me.. biochemistry.. which I quickly learned wasn’t for me (shocker). I decided enough was enough and I was just going to do what I love. You guessed it, I would become an interior designer! I enrolled at Okanagan College where I graduated top of my class and obtained the Teachers Excellence Award, I was onto something.. this is what I should be doing! So here I am doing what I love, ready to help you with any and all of your design needs!
